This thesis aims to study the impact of Information Sovereignty on Diplomacy in the course of globalization.According to international law, the definition of Information Sovereignty is national sovereignty reflecting in the information activities. In the national jurisdictional region, countries have supreme power over manufacturing, disseminating, and trading information as well as relevant organizations and system.Maintaining Information Sovereignty is a new requirement for a nation to safeguard its political and economic interests under globalization. It is also a premise of developing mankind's information wealth equally in the future. Information Sovereignty requires traditional nation-state to make structural changes in politics. Since both domestic and international politics change, some appropriate adjustments have to be made in the field of Diplomacy. Each country should strengthen innovation and research work in the field of information, reform the existing system, safeguard the national interests of Information Sovereignty, and participate in international cooperation actively.Information Sovereignty leads Diplomacy to the direction of democratization which requires China's Diplomacy paying attention to the strategic meaning of Public Diplomacy on the Internet. China's Diplomacy ought to promote Diplomacy informationization and modify the foreign policy decision-making mechanism.
