Villagers Mutual Aid

This paper is a villagers' mutual aid on-the-spot investigation about a natural village—Kong village in the east of Henan province.The mutual aid behavior is a social exchange behavior that occurs in the specific scopes and in daily life, meanwhile it is a voluntary behavior.Although it is extremely common in the countryside,the localization researches of sociology on that are actually few.In the social vicissitude vision,when we study on the system of mutual aid in the villagers' daily life taking the village as the unit,we can get many theoretical and practical significance about not only how construct the safe net of villagers' production and life but also how develop the new channel of local sociology researches.At first,the study describes the inside and outside village of social relations and the villager's contact space.Then, it analyzes the circle, type, function, transition of latent system deeply.Furthermore, the study finds that: (1) The mutual aid of villagers isn't a simple behavior and the significance behind it has far exceeded the behavior and behavior process itself. (2) Each kind of mutual aid behavior occurs in the villagers' special society relations,and different villagers' social circle contains different person because of the situation.Meanwhile,in the social vicissitude process,the mutual aid circle of young villagers gradually has the contact character and no longer limits in the natural mutual aid circle. (3) With the development of market economy and the enhancement of peopled demand,mutual aid between villagers in different situation has changed,and it has been permeated in villagers' rational computation wherever ceremony situation and non-ceremony situation.(4)In the native place,the Chinese logic,such as human sentiment,the face,the social position and the personal connection,etc,forms the latent system of the villagers' mutual aid.It can play the fetter even to punishment role on villagers in stronger homogeneous village. (5) With the enhancement of modernized degree,the order of the traditional rules is gradually disintegrating and the live radius of villagers is expanding.Then the special society relation such as the blood relationship,the marriage relationship and the neighbor relationship hasn't been the foundation of interpersonal trust.At the same time,people try to construct the new order through contract this kind universal rule.In the time of social reform, the traditional mutual aid pattern how moves towards modernization and then how takes useful effect on security of farmer's production and life, it will affect the harmony of Chinese countryside society.It is the responsibility of government to provide the essential guidance and the support for the effective movement of folk mutual aid pattern, so as to establish the suitable system of social security and safeguard the security of farmer's production and life.
