Russia Values ​​diplomacy Of The Clinton Administration

with the end of the cold war ,ideology diplomacy has not disappeared in the world in the same time。Recent years,we can see that western counties often again other counties with protect"liberty"and"democracy"as a excuse。So,it will benefit we recognize the essential of western counties diplomacy if we can know the relations between ideology and their policies toward to other counties especial the U.S。In this paper,I want to take the U.S. Clinton government'Russia policy as a example for explaining the relations between ideology and foreign policy。In the post cold war,for keeping the continue of Russian reform which began in the former Soviet Union,American government not only support Russia with a lot of money but also interfere in Russian internal affairs。On the other hand,American government took containment policy toward to Russia when it met difficulties in the process of reforming。About the reasons for American above policies,I argue that it not only relates with the tradition of American diplomacy but also with its global strategy during the post cold war。Besides,the changed in the end of former Soviet and begin of Russia also benefit American ideology diplomacy toward to Russia。By the history of relations between American and Russian,about the future of two counties relations,we can know that on one hang America will continue its ideology diplomacy toward to Russia which decide two counties will more complicated。On the other hand,with the recover of Russian comprehend power,there will be cooperation between two counties。...
