In the Bible,it said that the God created Adam first and created Eve by ribs of Adam.Therefore,women are naturally attached to men and belong to men.In different counties,although the religion and history are different, the dependant status of women is almost same.After modern time,sex equality has been affirmed in term of law in most nations,the concept of sex discrimination and the model of sex grading,however,are hard to be rooted up.In different countries and peoples,they exist in every social area with different degree.Among of them,the sex discrimination in employment which related to labor right and directly affect the living and career of women,inevitably attract our attention.Starting from the origin of sex discrimination--sex difference,this essay will illuminate the sex discrimination.Chinese women suffered in employment,and analyze loopholes of legislation,finally,explore methods of diminishing sex discrimination in employment by combining advanced foreign experience and china real situation together.In the first part of this essay,the writer will introduce basic concepts related to sex discrimination in employment such as employment,sex, discrimination,and career isolation,and theoretical classification of sex discrimination in employment.The reason of sex discrimination in employment is also analyzed in this part in the angle of economics.In the second part,the writer will,under the circumstance of hard employment, state the real situation that women are discriminated in employment and analyze the reason from four aspects:history,concept,economy and education degree,and illuminate the serious harm caused by sex discrimination in employment.In the third part,the legislation on anti-discrimination of different countries will be mainly introduced.In the last part of this essay,the writer first point out defects of legislation on anti-discrimination in employment,and on the basis of that,give further advices on how to perfect China legislation on anti-discrimination in employment.
