With excellent manipulation of public media, Koizumi Junichiro, the ex-premier of Japan, led the nation into the era of "Dramaturgical Politics" and maintained his power for a period of 65 months. As the predecessor, Abe Shinzo, attempted to build a "beautiful nation" by following Koizumi's "Dramaturgical Politics". However, he fell out of the power within a year. What was the reason for the rapid abortion of Mr. Abe's regime? Who was the director behind everything? And what was the correlation between the government and the public media under the realm of "Dramaturgical Politics"?Based on the "Dramaturgical Politics" directed by Koizumi and Abe, this paper explores and analyzes the interactive proceedings between the Japanese public media and the Japanese government from a perspective of political communication.
