Chinese Military Idiom Research

Military idioms are the special classified collection in the vocabulary system,which have a distinct unique individuality and the cultural information contains is also characteristic.we collect military idioms from "Military Idiom Big Dictionary" compiled by Tong Yubin as our research language materials,on the basis of consulting massive literature material foundation we conduct the systematic research of pronunciation,semantics and culture of combining synchronic and diachronic views and using the methods of literature study,comprehensive analysis and contrast.The whole article is divided into five Parts:The first Part is introduction,mainly introducing military idioms research present situation and this article research significance and research mentality.The second part is the outline,definiting the concept and the scope of the military idiom and establishing this thesis research corpus.The third part is the main body of the part,including three aspects:analysis of pronunciation, significance classification and cultural connotation.Military idiom pronunciation analysis using the theory of sound's symbolic thought,reveals the reflection of voice iconicity in the military idiom tone and vowels.The military idiom's significance classification uses the system theory the viewpoint,carries on the detailed classification from the angles of the language table significance and position significance.Military idiom cultural explains from synchronic and diachronic views.Military idioms contain the rich war idea culture,the military strategy culture and director the culture in synchronic view,which unfold the development path of China ancient times battled equips.The fourth part is from Pragmatic level of generalization of the military idiom for research. We analyze the generalization military idiom,and summarize its significance of generalization. The generalization of the military idiom results from both internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include the language system of non-self-sufficiency and human way of thinking cognitive metaphor;external causes include China's historical and cultural factors and the mechanism of competition of modern society.The fifth part is the article conclusion,carries on the summary to this thesis's research results, and to further develops the related research to propose the mentality.
