Israeli Political Party System And Its Foreign Policy Influence

There are many political parties in Israel and the conflicts among parties are fierce. Israel sustains political stability though the government sometimes can not serve the whole term because of the interaction between domestic policies and foreign policies. And most of the parties have been going through separation and reorganization science the foundation of the country.The Israeli political parties took their shapes during the Zionism movement.So,the doctrine of Zionism plays an important role in the parties' theories and creed.Most of the parties stick to the Zionism.From this view of point,the most important parties,such as the Labor and Likud,are just different clans of Zionism.The difference between them lies in the foreign affairs,especially in the Arab-Israel relations.The religious parties are also important in Israeli politics because of the influence of religion on Israeli society.Israel has been conflicting with the surrounding Arabian countries since its establishment.So,security is the main concern of the Israeli foreign policies.Realism and pragmatism are noticeable in Israeli foreign policies.The Israeli foreign policies experienced neutralism,leaning to the USA and all-direction diplomacy.Israel takes the special relationship with the United States as a base point in its foreign policies,securing Israel's survival and security.Diplomacy is the expansion of domestic policies.The change of foreign policies reflects the change of political parties' contestation.There are many ways for the political parties to influence Israeli foreign policies.Parties take irreplaceable position in the process of forming,executing,and supervising foreign policies.With the security environment deteriorating and the conflicts between Israel and Palestine increasing,the Israeli society may turn to right wing and the differences among the Left,Right and Middle are narrowing slowly.
