In the legal history of the Chinese revolution, the labor legislation is an instrument to coordinate labor relations and protect labor, is an important component of the socialist legal system. In the process of legal history of the Chinese revolution, the labor legislation of Harbin Liberated Areas is an important link connecting the labor legislation of Chinese Soviet areas, the border areas and the new china. Form 1946 to 1949, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Harbin government developed a large number of labor laws and regulations concerning labor wages, labor insurance, labor contracts and the settlement of labor disputes and so on. Introduction of these legislation meet the needs of social development at that time. They stabilized the labor relations, developed the production and supported the foundation for requirements of front-line .In the labor legislation of Harbin Liberated Areas ,it is the first time to take "where both can benefit" principle into practice, and set up the system of labor legislation what made develop economic and production as the center in the city. At the same time, the labor legislation of Harbin Liberated Areas has a direct impact on the development of the labor legislation of other liberated areas, as well as the new China labor legislation. It provided a useful reference for the labor legislation of the new China. This paper analyzed the causes, values and limitations of the labor legislation of Harbin Liberated Areas, in the basis on the specific content of the labor legislation in Harbin Liberated Areas. I hope that the analysis can provide historical reference for establish today's labor legal system.
