This dissertation takes Taiwan districts as a sample, and by dwelling on the evolution of politic and constitution model from 1945 to 1996 in Taiwan, it reveals The fundamental doctrines of modern constitutional politics are common: fair competition among different political parties; a reasonable size of the middle class; stable and flourishing economics; independent medium; well-functioning judicial system and the general faith in modern democratic thoughts by people.The thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapters is the basic of the thesis. It's discusses is serviced as to define the thesis' key words, including "authoritarian regime", "politics transition" and so on.The second chapter pictures the all courses of the authoritarian regime's foundation acted by the Party of Chinese Nationalists in China, Taiwan. In which the Taiwan's social status before the foundation are described detailedly.The third chapter is discussing the authoritarian regime in Taiwan how to control the Taiwan society and it's structural weaknesses.The last chapter describes the processes of the authoritarian regime'breakdown in Taiwan.
