Realist theory holds that the international system is a self-helping system. In such a system, countries seek military cooperation to enhance their security and guard against potential threats through formal or imformal contract. In this way, alliances are created .the term Security Model means the way of security behavior obeyed by actors (mainly incude states and intra-government organization). Security model of alliances refer to the actors'security behavior which is done to obtain security by alliances construction and maintenance. Except the security model of alliances, there are hegemonic security model, balancing security model, collective security model, security model of multilateral cooperation and security model of multilateral diplomacy in the field of International Politics. The positions of dominant and non-dominant security model in the system are changeable. Securyity model transformation actually is the process of the infuence increasing of the new security model and the influence declining of the old security model which is finally removed or assimilated. It's also the both efects of power shift and problem shift under the premise of the strategic security envirenment changing. There're mainly two kinds of security models: Security model of bilateral alliances and security model of multilateral diplomacy in Northeast Asia. The Security model of bilateral alliances which bases on the U.S-Japanese Alliance and the U.S-South Korean Alliance was created in the Cold War and has been the dominant security model in the region for a long time. As the remains of the Cold War, Security model of bilateral alliances is becoming harder and harder to cope with the changing strategic security envirenment in the post- Cold War time and is appearing many kinds of shortcoming. The Six-Party Talks which aimed to deal with the North Korean nuclear problem represents the security model of multilateral diplomacy in Northeast Asia. Since the day of the Six-Party Talks created, the transformation from Security model of bilateral alliances to security model of multilateral diplomacy had began and presented an inevitible trend.Since the end of the Cold War the strategic security envirenment in Northeast Asia has changed under the effects of three core elements: the changing of power distribution, the deepening of economic interdependence and the increasing of non-traditional security problems. This provide prerequisite for the transformation from Security model of bilateral alliances to security model of multilateral diplomacy. Since the outbroke of the first North Korean nuclear crisis, several security regime with the characteristics of the security model of multilateral diplomacy have come out such as, the Four- Party Talks, the Trilateral Coordinate and Oversee Group(TCOG), the There-Party Talks and the Six-Party Talks. The Six-Party Talks played an active role in the second North Korean nuclear crisis and became the formal multilateral diplomatic regime recognized by all the partys to solve the crisis. There're also other problem in Northeast Asia excep the North Korean nuclear issue such as, the border dispute, the energy security problem, financial security problem and so on. Those problems involve traditional and non-traditional security and can't be solved only by the Six-Party Talks regime in a shirt time. So the feasible path to promote the security model transformation is to extend the founction of the Six-Party Talks regime from traditional security field to non-traditional security field until form a complete security system of multilateral diplomacy which base on the perfection of the Six-Party Talks regime and can deal with all the security problem in Northeast Asia. The security model tansformation is a long, tortuous, gradual but inevitible process. China must be the promotor of this trend to obtain the benign interaction of the rising of China and the security model tansformation by excellent handling of all kinds of relationships .
