The Necessity Of County-level Cppcc

In addition, there is a view among the community that the CPPCC isn't making much contributions, it is dispensable. So the question is whether it's necessary to establish CPPCC organizations at the county level? In this paper, the CPPCC at the county level is the research object; the paper selects Lin'an City CPPCC Committee as an example. The paper first starts with the study of the literature, holds the idea that the existence of CPPCC at the county level is partly for the need of united front work. On the other side, the existence of CPPCC at the county level is because the function of the CPPCC has been developed in the past years. In this paper, the author uses the practice of Lin'an City CPPCC committee as an example, proves that CPPCC at the county-level could play an effective role and make its own functions in united front work and promoting democracy. This paper argues that, with the deepening of reform and opening up, compared with the early days, nowadays the local social structure is much more diverse. Whether from the angle of united front work or to promote the local economic and social development, smooth channels for political participation at all levels, or to promote democracy, maintaining social harmony and stability, the CPPCC at the county level can play its unique and important role. According to analysis above, the paper holds the conclusion that CPPCC at the county level is necessary.
