South Korean Security Threats

Korea as an important place of Northeast Asian region, hasn't solve some traditional security threats during the cold war period, and at the same time, just like other countries it has to face more and more non-traditional threats. The main reason why traditional security threats haven't solved is that the problem of nuclear in North Korea and the surrounding countries are against the Korea peninsula and the situation of Northeast Asian region is very urgent, all of which lead a very hard relationship between Korea and the countries of Northeast Asian region including America and Japan. Meanwhile, the global and industrial development has made the untraditional security threats such as economic, energy, ecology, information increasing., and what's more, it makes the Korea peninsula into a more serious situation. In such a situation, Korea has to cooperate with America and other surrounding countries, and in order to deal with the security threats now and in the future, Korea must have its security power.
