General Technical Class Of Hybrid Teaching Model Based On The Moodle Platform

General technology course is the new subject, which teaching purpose is in order to enhance the technology literacy of students, bring up innovation consciousness and scientific spirit of students since senior middle school curriculum reform. General technology course is not information technology lessons, not the labor skills classes, nor the art classes, it has its own unique value and teaching characteristics, can not be substituted by other disciplines. General technology course is the teaching activity which is in close with studying and living of students. Students could master essential techniques in daily life and make sense of the latest technological achievements and technical information through learning the General technology course, students will benefit from the life.Moodle platform is also a new thing. It is chaired by Dr. Mar-nDougiamas Australia, the development of an educational theory of constructivism based on the opening of the course management system (CMS) [1]. In recent years, Moodle is developing very rapidly, so far, it has been widely used by nearly hundreds of countries and more than 2,000 institutions. Moodle is a network platform, which support for a variety of database and PHP support on any operating system running.How to make full use of Moodle platform advantages which is integrate with other scientific disciplines become the most concern for majority of teachers. The two new areas integration of General technology and Moodle of these is a new challenge; the existing mode of teaching in schools can no longer meet the development needs of the times, teaching students as the main body to carry out new teaching models and learning methods by us.Hybrid teaching model is a new teaching model, which emerged as development of information technology and teaching philosophy update. The significance of this teaching model is the integration of the two teaching methods by the traditional face to face teaching between teachers and students in classroom and the use of network-assisted self-study students; it is integration of a variety of teaching content, teaching media and learning method. Hybrid model not only give full play of teachers in the teaching process in the leading role, but also reflects the students in the learning process in their own right. Therefore, use of hybrid teaching model of general technology course can make full use Moodle platform resources based on Moodle, and it helps to achieve general technology course to enhance student's technology literacy, to develop student's sense of innovation and scientific exploration the spirit of the purposes of instruction. It has great significance that carry out the Hybrid teaching model based on Moodle for general technical teaching.The purpose of this paper is expatiated the Moodle platform with General technical teaching has a very important role, and research how to use the Moodle platform advantages in teaching to carry out a mixed mode of instruction, to stimulate students interest in learning, to improve the quality and effectiveness of technology instruction.
