With the idea of the new course theories developing further,teachers are required to change the opinion of concentrating knowledge gradually,and focus their attention on emphasizing the Students,conceming about the Students' qualities the integrated development of their personal characteris,as well as the sustainable development. Besides,teachers should pay more attention to the process of learning and teaching,focus on the cultivating of their knowledge,process approuch,attend and attitude and sense of worth. Inquiry Teaching (Inquiry Teaching), also known as the discovery method, research method refers to the students in learning concepts and principles, the teachers just give them some examples and problems, so that the students themselves through reading, observation, experiment, reflection, discussion, listening and other means to independently explore, discover and master their own principles and conclusions of the corresponding method. Its guiding ideology is under the guidance of the teacher to the student, to enable students to consciously take the initiative to explore and master the knowledge and problem-solving methods and procedures, study the properties of objective things and found the cause of development of things and the things inside contact to find out the law, to form their own concepts. Can see that in the process of inquiry teaching students the dominant position of autonomy have been strengthened.Develop scientific literacy of students, curriculum reform is the fundamental goal of chemistry. From the perspective of science education, scientific literacy includes scientific interest, scientific knowledge, scientific method, scientific thinking, the four elements. Scientific knowledge and scientific method is based on the structure of scientific literacy. The modern scientific view that science not only scientific knowledge but also to explore the scientific process scientific knowledge and methods, so only create situations to enable students to personally experience the process of scientific knowledge and methods and the interaction between science and help them to study in various ways chemical problems related to form their own point of view, stimulate their interest in learning chemistry, so that they truly understand the nature of science.The essay is based on the present senior chemistry teaching, and it is a research on the existing problems in teaching. The essay is written according to the idea of theory-practice-theory.Firstly, we should find out the problems that exist in teaching, pointing out the importance of inquiry teaching. And then the idea of inquiry teaching and the meaning of the research are talked about.Finally, I will put forward frame of teaching design and put it into practice. And then analyze the results qualitatively and quantatively and make a conclusion.
