This article, which aims at reforming the structure of teaching and thus establishing democratic classes, is based on long practices in the teaching of ideological and ethical education. The classroom of autonomy and mutual assistance is essential in the new curriculum reforms.It is also a must in quality-oriented educaion of China as well as in Shandong Province.It Is built on the"vigos dimitrios base of proximal development"theory, and the"optimization, class, cooperative learning""theory, the theory, the effective teaching theory and the theory of learning bloom on the basis of these theories, is in moral character education, but also the concrete embodiment of new curriculum reform brought out independently, cooperation, and to explore the basic teaching concept specific implementation.The classroom of autonomy and mutual assistance implies"three stages and four links".Three stages includes :the preparations before class,the researching within class, and expanding after class.Four links are made up of independent study ,study through mutual assistance,precise directions from the teachers,and effective training.Combined with the new idea of the new curriculum ,and based on the tasks of different teaching periods and the general purpose of this subject, the article has divided ideologicaland ethical education into five types of lessons,which details the"three stages and four links",greatly increasing its operability .And they are new knowledge researching,comprehensive revision,test analyzing,commenting on the current political affairs, and comprehensive exporation.The five types of lessons produce the tetralogy of classroom teaching :autonomous inspiration,collaborate researching,approching real life,platform of practice.They are aimed at forming the special thinking of ideological and ethical education,leading the students in their solving of practical problems ,and improving their ability of settling real problems making use of the knowledge from school.The above principle accords with the middle school students'psychological demands .In order to get sustainable development, a model of teaching ought to possess objective evaluation criterion."The classroom of autonomy and mutual assistance"creats its own teaching evaluation scale,which is student-oriented and development-oriented.These thorough,scientific,precise,concise evalution regulations involve four aspects of teaching :the design,the process, the effectiveness,the evalution.In the appendix are the teaching designs and guided learning plans for each of the five types of lessons.
