| In our country, The Radio and TV University is the setter of Distance Education. It has advanced teaching means and resources, which is suitable for developing Blending Teaching. In addition, Blending Teaching can give distance students more flexible ways of learning, and can relieve the contradiction between the work and study. How to design Blending Teaching? How to improve the effect of Blending Teaching? These questions are the urgent problems.In order to find effective Blending Teaching mode, and provide better support to students, this study adopts case study. The researcher takes "Social Investigation and Method" as the case. Then conducted observation on the face to face tutorials of tutors, and tracking the online teaching at the same time. Furthermore, the researcher has interview and questionnaire the students.This study found that:(1) The relationship between teachers and students can improve the teaching presence; (2) The Heuristic teaching and the based on students experience teaching can promote students participation. (3) The relationship between online teaching and face to face tutorial is not only cohesion and complementary, but also parallel. (4) In the learning process, online teaching facilitate teachers discover the students personalized problems timely, then give the students guide in face to face tutorial, and promote the students participant online learning. (5) Students hold the positive attitude on Blending Teaching, but there exist some learning difficulty at the same time.Based on the above study, we give these suggestions:(1) Face to face tutorial and online teaching match, cannot independently; (2) We should combine the characteristics of adult learner to choose appropriate teaching method, then promoting students participation; (3) Improve the training for tutors, especially the Blending Teaching design; (4) Strengthen the research on Blending Teaching and explore new mode for distance teaching. |
