Under the background of the rapid development of information industry, computer network technology is extensively applied in the field of education. becomes the new forms of adult education and continuing education and plays an important role for promoting China's education system and lifelong learning society. On the basis of this, researching and analysizing of Distance adult education learners characteristics and building the adult distance education model in line with China's national conditions are helpful to the development of adult distance education.By consulting the relevant literature, understand the learning characteristics of distance learners at home and abroad. And make a description for the development of Distance education ,adult education and related research-related theory of learner characteristics. All of these lay the theories foundation for studying on the learner characteristics.By Comparative analysizing the six kinds of learners feature models and combining the relevant research results of traditional learner characteristics analysis, the main work of the paper is clear, namely, analysizing the basic characteristics, the learning motivation, learning strategies and learning disabilities of leaners.Based on the analysis for the selected learner characteristics, generate the questionnaire for the learner characteristics in line with practical application. This paper carried out a questionnaire on selected the distance adult students of three colleges and universities for Hebei University, Hebei Agricultural University, North China Electric Power University. Through data analysis, find the influence and the existing problems of the characteristics of learners on their learning process.Finally, for the learning characteristics of learners, the paper proposed the measures and recommendations for improvements from three aspects, remote management system of adult education, the overall quality of teachers and adult learners independent.
