| With the coming of knowledge economy and information age, great changes have taken place in the way of individual working and social life. Lifelong education and learning are required to every member in the modern society in order to survive and thrive. Community education plays an increasingly important role in creating learning society and structuring the system of lifelong education. As a major part of connotations'construction of community education, the practice and the study of curriculum development attract more and more attention. As the medium and carrier of community education, odds of curriculum of community education play a vital part in whether community education can be advanced smoothly. It is a significant and must-parsing topic in community education that how to develop and construct curriculum reasonably so that unleashing people's potentials to the utmost, arousing people's learning motivations, improving people's qualities and quality of life thus enhancing the whole community's civilization, harmony construction and developing scientifically, long-acting and sustainably. This thesis employs research methods like literature reading, questionnaire, individual interview and case analysis, studies the practice of community education's curriculum development in Minhang District. By surveying educational requirements of community residents, this thesis trys to bring forward tactics of community education's curriculum development and providing references to the work of community education.This thesis introduces the current situation of present community education's curriculum development, analyses the existing questions of it and starts discussion on the basis of theories coinciding with scientific outlook on development such as the theory of sustainable development, the theory of adult education and lifelong educational thought. Begin with the educational requirements of community residents in Minhang, it is discovered that their requirements featured as diversity in curriculum and contents of community education, learning interests and studying time. Meanwhile, this thesis analyses the current situation and special requirements of community education of migrant workers who take up to over half of the inhabitants in Minhang according to the population structure of Minhang. By thoroughly understanding the current situation of community education's curriculum development and educational requirements of community residents, it points out the questions such like lacking awareness of planning in curriculum development, incompleteness of operation mechanism, vacancy of main body of curriculum development, lack of professional knowledge of curriculum developers and low degree of informationization. Mean while, the author also pose the tactics which are community residents'requirements oriented curriculum development and multicycle integration training curriculum development for migrant workers in Minhang.Community education's curriculum development is based on diversified requirements of community residents as well as lifelong development, which is also based on community development and is the practice of integrating, developing and innovating community educational resources. Through the study, the author holds the view that in the future practice of community education's curriculum development, practice and theories should be strengthened further, the system of community education's curriculum should be improved and structured and the faculty of community education should be enhanced. And when we meet the new situations and questions during the construction of community education's curriculum, we should bring forward new ideas and measures in order to boost the new development of community education. |
