College student loan is a kind of credit loan provided by central authorities and provincial governments. Since Industrial & Commercial Bank of China began National Student Loans from 1999, our country's student loan began to develop. However, as the college student loan in lack of the protection of collateral security, there exist a standing problem that college student do not pay for the loan according to the contract. So in the process of promoting student loan, there highlight a standing problem of credit risk which brings a huge risk to the bank. As a result, the bank is unwilling to provide loan to the undergraduate students. In return, the development of national student loan is running not smoothly.This thesis bases on the ten-year's development of national student loan, and analyzes the existing risk of student loan. One of the important reasons which lead to this is the lacking of college students'trustworthiness. And this thesis analyzes the reasons both subjectively and objectively. The lacking of college students' trustworthiness restricts the development of student loan. Therefore, in order to reduce the risk of student loan and promote its development, we have to trace to the roots which is to strength the trustworthiness education and trustworthiness awareness of college students. Honesty is a fine tradition of Chinese nation and the foundation of marketing economy. Honesty is the fundamentally ethical norm between man-man relationship and man-society relationship. Honest is the important base and mark of modern civilization. College students are the hope and future of Chinese nation, they are the main forces in socialism modernized construction, and they are the transmitters and accepters of human knowledge and civilization. They are so important that it is both inevitable and necessary to strength the trustworthiness education.This thesis comes out with suggestions which combined with the fact of high education, on the basic of improve college students'ideological and ethical standards, starting from the administration of college students'trustworthiness and the construction of the education system, to discuss the practicable ways of solve the problem of college students'trustworthiness in deep. In the hope of strength college students'trustworthiness education and control the risk of college student loan effectively.
