In recent years, honesty and trustworthiness has been one of the focuses of people's discussions and how to make students more honest and trustworthy has become the great concern of educational circles. In secondary vocational schools, this problem will affect not only students' development and the future of the whole undertakings, but also the sound development of our socialist market economy and construction of our harmonious society. Therefore, honesty and trustworthiness education has become an important issue of moral education in secondary vocational schools.Based on the significance of honesty and trustworthiness education in secondary vocational schools and the experience of "examination without monitor" in our school, this paper suggests that the practice of "examination without monitor" is a beneficial experiment; besides, by analyzing the existing problems in the practice, this paper also probes the reasons for current unsatisfactory effect of honesty and trustworthiness education in secondary vocational schools. And finally by illustrating the overall relationship between the practice and aim of honesty and trustworthiness education, the author points out some basic principles in such education.In theory, the author believes that we should insist on the principle of using such teaching methods as are best adapted to the students, combining moral education with vocation education, group education with individual education, and the principle of unity of knowing and doing and stress on doing. In practice, we should keep pace with times, try to create a good atmosphere and emphasize humanism, so as to strengthen students' sense of honesty and trustworthiness; besides, we should promote our institutional construction, improve and perfect students' moral evaluation system.
