Middle school students are the hope of a country, standing for its future. The current consumption behavior of students has a great influence on the future contents and trends of consumptions in society. In recent years, robust growth of travel demand is seen in middle school students, the market is developing rapidly as well, their travel behavior and the phenomenon hence in tourism industry has drawn more and more attention of the scholars and experts. This paper studies the travel consumption behavior and current tourism market situation of middle school students based on the angles of the current status of domestic tourism resources in students' market, the implementation of quality education, breeding students' healthy consumption behavior, fostering virtuous tourism market, building a harmonious society and improving population quality and so on.Based on the overview of travel consumption behavior of middle school students in the academic literature and dynamics, from the perspective of middle school students travel consumption behavior and tourism market, the paper discusses the differences between middle school students travel consumption behavior and the causes. From the education and tourism point of view, the proposal and countermeasures of building a basic framework in different modes for middle school students to speed up the process of middle school students travel market and improve the market competitiveness of middle school students have been stated.This paper, based on the present social structure low fertility of the actual status of groups concerned in Shanghai, is focusing the development of middle school students. Methods based on field research and interviews, empirical analysis has been adopted to study the consumption characteristics of middle school students in Shanghai. Data collected from Shanghai Fudan Middle School Private School (11-15 age group) has been studied as a sample in tourism consumption behavior.The writer integrates the use of related tourism theory, SPSS software, factor analysis, principal component analysis, variance analysis, cluster analysis, comparative study and in-depth interviews to prove his point. According to the data analyzed and interviews, writer intends to implement the research on middle school students consumption behavior in Shanghai and its influence factors in the formation, development to reduce and eliminate the negative factors in developing students'tourism market and promote students'tourism to grow in a healthy and sustainable way.This paper tries to change the current less-focused situation of students'consumption behavior as the subject of travel industry in order to remind and urge the tourism market to pay more attention to the interest of the above-mentioned age group, and the development and foster of the healthy growth of new market system for Shanghai middle school students. The paper urges the government, related tour organizations, tourist destinations and tourist product developers to increase research into students; reminds the education sector and educational institutions to improve education and training model for middle school students, giving more concern about the cultivation of personal interests of individual and the independent learning ability in their growth process. Thus, the current situation will be change to deepen and expand middle school students travel consumption behavior so as to promote their healthy growth.This paper is to provide theoretical basis for further promotion of middle school students'tourism, enrich and develop the theory of their tourism consumption behavior.
