Regional Higher Education Ecosystem Management Study

This study from analyzing the development of the theory of ecosystem management, with the help of ecology, the title of the theoretical thinking and basic principle, comprehensive investigation and analysis of the regional higher education ecological system internal and external macro and micro ecology environment regional higher education ecosystem impact.Firstly, started with the logical point of the regional higher education system, based on a new theory——ecosystem management, and seen the ecological environment as endogenous variables of higher education system, a kind of ecosystem management model of higher education is designed, which is used to study what the main influential factors are, how to adapt to other ecological changes in the environment and how to optimize the environment good for the development of higher education.Secondly, on the basis of ecosystem management of higher education, the ecological environment for the higher education of Guangxi province is analyzed both from the macro and micro aspects in this study. The study suggests that Guangxi Higher Education is facing social and economic transformation in a sense of macro-environment, and the new educational model should be formed to adapt to the political, economic and cultural development. On the other hand, from the aspect micro-environment, there still exist various discords between the human, material and information resources and regional economic development. As a matter of fact,to a certain extent, Guangxi Higher Education lags behind those of some other provinces. Consequently, Guangxi should select to integrate resources for higher education development.Finally, after analyzing the internal and external environment, this study promotes several strategies for the ecosystems of higher education in Guangxi to achieve ecologically sustainable development, that is: to establish alliances to share resources of higher education, to build the regional Association of Universities to respond to changes in industrial clusters, to set up higher Education regional nodes to form a "economy - Higher Education " centered network, to construct ecological personnel support platform to service the regional social and economic development.
