Purposes: Psychological assessment is a convenient, fast and scientific assessment tool.Psychological assessment is widely used. It is more and more important. At presentassessment of psychological benefits of physical exercise mainly use the tool of psychologicalstate and psychological health to evaluate. The existing assessment tools exist some problems.Firstly, the existing assessment tools of psychological benefits of physical exercise are mainlyfrom foreign country, they are not suitable assessment tools. Secondly, the structure of theexisting tools is single. Thirdly, the most assessment tools are not the norm, we can notaccurately evaluate. Lastly, the existing assessment tools mainly evaluate the adults, but notthe adolescents. So the research of adolescents students’ psychological benefits of physicalexercise in Liaoning Province is very important.Methods: Through using the methods of literature, expert interview, questionnaire andstatistic analysis to research the assessment tool of adolescent students’ psychological benefitsof physical exercise. Through devising the problems, investigating the adolescent students,and then modifying the problems, ultimately devising the psychological benefits scale ofphysical exercise in adolescents, establishing the norm to assess the psychological benefits ofphysical exercise in adolescents in Liaoning Province.Results: The adolescents in Liaoning favorite the physical exercise, and the main aim of thephysical exercise relaxes their efforts, most of all be fond of to take part in the physicalexercise with their classmates. Some factors limit to the adolescents to take part in thephysical exercise, include the themselves’ physical exercise ability, school, family and societyfactor.The psychological benefits scale of physical exercise in adolescents students in LiaoningProvince consists of six subscales: subjective experience, flexible thinking, interpersonalcommunication, stress management, physical value, and physical self-respect. Using factoranalysis, the validity and reliability of the scale was examined and witnessed. The number ofreliability is0.951.MNOVA results showed that there were significant gender and gradedifferences in the six dimensions and the global, so Liaoning gender norms and grade normswere established to assess the psychological benefits of physical exercise in adolescents inLiaoning. The paper concluded some results:First: The adolescents in Liaoning favorite the physical exercise, but some factors limitto the adolescents to take part in the physical exercise, include the themselves’ physicalexercise ability, school, family and society factor.Second: The psychological benefits scale of physical exercise in adolescents students inLiaoning Province consists of six subscales: subjective experience, flexible thinking, interpersonal communication, stress management, physical value, and physical self-respect.Third: The validity and reliability of the scale was examined and witnessed, thepsychological benefits scale may become a assess tool.Fourth: The psychological benefits exist gender and grade differences, so Liaoninggender norms and grade norms were established, so it is important to distinguish between thegender and grade in practice.
