Ego-syntonic state and psychological health has very big relations. Ego-dystonicstate, that is, disharmony and disunity between ideal self and real self, will directlylead individual psychological imbalance, severe psychological conflict andpsychological illness. An ego-syntonic level test can reflect the psychological healthstatus well and screening psychological abnormality individuals from another angleand thus provide help for psychological health education. This paper analyzes variousfactors influencing ego-syntonic state of college students majoring PE in Yunnanprovince through investigating their ego-syntonic state status and provides referencefor studying their psychological health problems. This study adopts literature method,questionnaire investigation method, expert interview method, psychologicalmeasurement method and mathematical statistics method and other research methodsand conducts ego-syntonic state research by extracting536PE majoring collegestudents from five PE professional colleges in Yunnan province.The study finds the following points.1. The self-syntonic state total scores of college students majoring PE are basicin normal distribution and students with relative and very ego-syntonic state accountfor majority while ego-dystonic students are in the minority.2. There is remarkable difference in self-experience incongruity and self-flexibility of the college students majoring PE comparing with the norm collegestudents. They are better than the norm college students in various dimensions.3. There is no significant difference between the college students with differentgender, nation and origin and the general on ego-syntonic state. But there issignificant difference on “self-flexibility” among students from different grades. Andremarkable differences are also existed in various ego-syntonic subjects of studentsfrom different family structures. On the disharmony of self and experience whetherthe child is the only one will make significant differences. There are no significantdifferences on “disharmony between self and experience” and “total ego-syntonic scores” of different special projects.4. The factor analysis shows that the ego-syntonic state influencing factors ofcollege students majoring in PE in Yunnan province can be divided into six factorscovering family environment, interpersonal relationship and self-consciousness,social cognition, interests and hobbies, achievement motivation.5. The first ten factors influencing college students’ ego-syntonic state of PEmajor are successively as follows: family relationship, employment pressure, hobbiesand parents expectations, learning interest, teachers and students’ relations,communication ability, self-control, social cognition, peer relations.
