It can improve the students’vision, memory, logic reasoning, also can improve college students’attention, willpower, sentiment and frustration tolerance. Wei QIhas experienced four thousand years of ups and downs in China, wemust continue to go forward and carry forward it. Since last centurypeople consider Wei Qi as a sport, we begin to name it Wei Qi sport.Because Wei Qi also has competitive, and college students are themajor forces of all kinds of sports, colleges Wei Qi sport isespecially important to the Wei Qi’s development. This article hasanalyzed present situation of the10colleges directly under theprovince of Gui Zhou through the literature material law,questionnaire survey method, interview method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis, and has comprehensively analyzed theresearch status of Wei Qi at colleges at home and abroad anddevelopment present situation at domestic colleges according to itsfunction and historical value. Compared to Gui Zhou province andaccording to the current development in Gui Zhou province, theauthor points out that the present conditions in launching the sportin Gui Zhou province, and analyzes the influence factors in collegesin Gui Zhou province. And the author analyzes extensively theinfluence factors. Wei Qi has been accepted by the college leaders,teachers, students and parents, but there is still able to have afull understandings about it. The main factors which affect thecolleges’ Wei Qi development are lack of the professional teachersin Wei Qi, and also have no unified teaching materials. Collegesshould be issued the corresponding policies to support colleges todevelop the sport, and to find a suitable means in colleges in GuiZhou province, and to carry out the teaching about Wei Qi, and tofind out feasible and effective measures in developing the Wei Qiin Gui Zhou province, and to promote the development of collegesports in Gui Zhou province.
