The development of society puts forward new chanllenges to teachers’ quality.At present, improving teaching level and enhancing professional ability are the newtrend to ameliorate Chinese education, whereas the traditional methods for trainingteachers have gradually presented their drawbacks. Connecting mobile study withmicro course, this study proposes order to make up for the short comings oftraditional methods for training teachers and provides a new direction for thedevelopment of teacher training.After a wide range reading of literature, based on the understanding of teachingindustry and the knowledgement about the development of design on curriculumresources, this study presents a procedure about the development of mobile-microcourse resources which starts from the analysis on the needs of teacher training,succeedingly is the teaching and mobile design which directs the exploit and finallythe application of the course resourse. According to the above procedure, the authorhas selected the “A course in English language Teaching” as the teaching material anddevelops a series of mobile-micro course resourses which are connected with thetraining courses for junior school English teachers, and has released them to themobile-micro platform which called “Education Channel”. All these have preparedwell for the study about the application of the procedure. At the same time, this thesisintroduces the whole progress of the development of the resource through a case,analyzes the application effects, provides suggestions and finally proves theavailability of the course in teacher training.The main problem this study aims to solve is the application of themobile-micro course in the teacher training, which has been proved though the design,development and application of the mobile-micro course. To some extent, this wayadvises the traditional ways to teacher training and promote the development of theteachers. However, this course can just be the assistant and the significant position ofthe traditional ways is irreplaceable.
