Learning dififculties was a common phenomenon in physics education. Studentswith learning difficulties as a special group, which was caused by thinkinglfuctuations and psychological disorders. Naturally, students with physics learningdifficulties in Grade10were also considered as one of common learning difficultiesgroups. One of the most concerned problems in recent physics education was toreasonably analyze the factors contributed to physics learning difficulties, to ifnd theroot of these problems, to discuss their solutions, and then to properly guide andeducate these students to help them convert physics learning difficulties, improvetheir interests and motivations in physics and promote their physics leaning. On the basis of previous researches, the author did a research of the leaningdifficulties factors in kinematics about students in Grade10combining some relatedtheories of pedagogy and educational psychology. Research methods used in thisstudy was a questionnaire survey, and the respondents were selected fromQinzhouNo.3high school in Guangxi. The contents of the questionnaire involved nineaspects, which are students’ learning interests, learning attitudes, learning methods, learning stress, learning motivations, sense of self-efifcacy, subject characteristics, cognitive factors and teacher impacts. The author used some related software, such asSPSS13.0for windows,Microsoft Excel and MATLAB, to do data statistics for thereturned questionnaires, and then conducted a correlation analysis, a factor analysisand a cause analysis.According to the results of the data correlation analysis, the author found therewas the most significant correlation among self-efficacy&confidence, self-efficacy&stress, learning confidence&stress, and learning method&stress, and a moresignificant correlation between learning method and conifdence, and as to thecorrelation among self-efficacy&learning method, learning interest&self-eiffcacyand learning interest&confidence is relatively significant. What’s more, the subjectcharacteristic with learning interest, confidence cognitive factors and leaning methodhad a negative correlation, and confidence with self-efficacy and leaning method hada positive correlation. In another word, there was a quite significant correlation amongthe whole factors,so this questionnaire had certain scientificity. However, consideringthe large number of these factors, which would cause more dififculties for thefollowing cause analysis, so the author continued to do a factor analysis. After thefactor analysis, in order to more easy for the following study, the author divided thefactors from nine aspects into three dimensions, whose new name werenon-intellectual factor, intelligence factor and external factor. Of cause, the results offactor analysis were quite consistent with the factor classiifcation in the questionnaireused by the author. Finishing the analysis of the survey results, the author foundduring leaning kinematic in Grade10, students with learning diiffculties commonlyhave small leaning interest, insufficient leaning motivation, improper learning method, negative learning attitude, more learning sterss, poor cognitive construction, lowself-efficacy, more difficult to learn physics etc.,and all these results are identical to the author’s envision. In addition, the author also investigated the self-attribution ofstudents with learning difficulties. And the statistics showed that most students withlearning difficulties consider the reasons of their learning diiffculties are from theirown insuiffcient effort, poor ability, too diiffcult to learn physics and high learningstress. All these results suggested that the condition of students’ self-attribution isquite equal to the author’s cause analysis of their learning difficulties. Finally, based on results of the research, the author would give some teachingstrategies and suggestions on how to help students to convert their learning diiffcultiesduring teaching. Furthermore, the author mainly introduced the teaching strategy ofdeveloping students’ thinking ability, whose aim is to help students in Grade10overcome the thinking obstacles of learning kinematic, and then to solve theirproblems on learning difficulties.
