One of the basic ideas of the new curriculum reform of physics in compulsory education phase of junior high school is to improve comprehensive, individual, and sustainable development of the student. At present, there is a univeral phenomenon of school-weary that seriously hinders the development of students. It is an important task for every teacher to effectively train and motivate junior high school students'learning physical motivation. But the research of physical learning motivation cannot follow up the development of society step by step, and with the accelertion of China's urbanization, the subjetive and objective conditions of junior high school students' learning between urban and rural areas change constantly, so the influence factors of learning physical motivation also presents a new feature.According to the related theory, we will formate the physical learning motivation questionnaire of junior middle school students, investigate physical learning motivation between urban and rural areas as representatives in Nantong development zone under the background of the new curriculum, and analyse the level and strength of junior middle school students'physical learning motivation in detail in this area.First, we comprehensive various theories of the learning motivation factors; Then according to the principle of psychological measurement and combining with the interview of individual students, we refer to the result of junior high school physics teachers'questionnaire in Nantong development zone, and determine five factors of the Junior high school students' physics learning motivation: cognitive drive, ego-enhancement drive, affiliated drive, self-efficacy and attribution of success and failure; Finally, we formulate project of each factor based on the characteristics of physical discipline. Through the survey data of the questionnaire, we analyse in detail the overall level of motivation, gender differences and grade differences of the junior middle school physics learning motivation as representatives in Nantong development zone,and study the influence factors of the properties and motivation of physics learing in-depth. Research results show that the drive similar to cognitive drive of physics learning junior middle school between urban and rural areas in Nantong developmeng zone is higher than that of ego-enhancement drive and affiliated drive, there is a striking signicance between grade two and three. Boys'cognitive drive in the physical learning motivation is more significant than girls', the successful attribution of physical learning of the junior high school students in development zone do better, but the failure attribution of physical learning do worse, it is usually to produce the mood of detrimental activities for learning.Some suggestions are put forward for the research on the above conclusion on the basis of analysis and discussion. The conclusion is to provide some valuable theoretical basis for the motivation similar to physics learning motivation of junior middle school physics teacher training and stimulating students' motivation in some areas of Nantong development zone.
