| With the continuous development of society and deepening of curriculum reform, it has become the core goal of education to cultivate the students’ ability to acquire new knowledge by themselves. And developing their preview abilities is an effective way to achieve this goal. As a part of math learning, preview must improve the students’ ability of abstract thinking, logical reasoning and problem solving. The preview mode, in the traditional sense of"reading, highlighting and practicing", can’t meet the needs for math studies. To this end, with resort to cognitive and constructive learning theory and the mathematical education philosophy, as well as based on the previous studies on this subject, the practice research on the effectiveness of preview in high school math education has been carried out in this thesis. The methodology used in this study mainly includes document analysis, survey research and case analysis, as well as statistical analysis. Firstly, the status of high school math preview is investigated by questionnaire with students and interview with colleagues in high school. Secondly, for this situation, the concept of math preview is defined based on the characteristics of high school math disciplines. Then, through the design and execution of preview activities under different class type, as well as the corresponding classroom teaching practice and exploration, the strategies to improve the effectiveness of high school math preview are proposed, which include (1) the preparation of preview learning case for different class type,(2) the adoption of preview method for different content, and (3) the attention to students" growth in the activities of "preliminary attempt" to math preview. Finally, the effectiveness analysis for the proposed preview strategies is executed from the perspective of theory, discipline and experiment.Based on this study, it is concluded that high school mathematical learning relies on the preview activities; besides, both the requirement for students’subjective initiative and the requirement for teachers’ wisdom are needed for the cultivation of habit and the promotion of ability in mathematical preview for the high school students. Practice shows that this set of preview strategies conforms to the relevant psychology theory and mathematical discipline characteristics. It has verified the promoting effect in students’ math learning as well. |
