With the advent of effective teaching thought, the effectiveness of example-based learning widely used in the classroom has attracted a lot of attention from teachers. No one shall neglect the role of the examples as a bridge between theory and practical application for students’ IT subject’s learning. However, although we value the role of the examples in the classroom, we sometimes ignore the way to present the examples in the classroom. The presentation in the classroom is so boring that it is inconsistent with the timely needs of students, resulting in the inefficiency of learning. Many students, although having been involved in example-based learning, can not solve the problems with a slight deviation from the examples. Therefore, this paper attempts to optimize the examples from the perspective of the rendering process to explore a strategy to enhance the efficiency of example-based learning. This paper has been prepared with the idea of "to discover problems, to analyze and then solve problems".First, the paper starts with the current situation where the examples are presented in the classroom through classroom observation, case studies of teaching and teacher questionnaires and other multi-channel ways. By analyzing the process of presenting examples and exploring the reasons for inefficiency, it is found that it is presentation form, presentation time and method that shall be responsible for the inefficiencies. Then, through a survey of students, the paper decides students’ actual needs in the IT classroom with the view of their cognitive characteristics. Finally, the paper concludes with some strategies in regard to presentation form, presentation time and method based on expert advice as well as their years of practice and experience and our studies, hoping to provide some enlightening to IT teachers.
