The classroom is the main front of education and teaching. With the advance of newcurriculum reform, new teaching concept has won popular support among the people andimproving the efficiency of classroom teaching has become a hot issue of wide concern.Effective classroom teaching is inseparable from the active participation of students, and the besttime to mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of students is precisely the lead-in part ofclassroom teaching. Therefore, effective classroom lead-in is the important prerequisite forefficient classroom. But the academic study of biology classroom lead-in is still very weak andbasically stuck in the stage of perceptual knowledge and experience summarization, which failedto form a complete system. In order to understand the present situation of the teaching of biologyclassroom lead-in and find the existing problems, and then go further to propose theimplementation strategies of effective lead-in, improve the research system of classroom lead-inand strengthen the integration of theory and practice, which could make lead-in a more importantrole in the classroom teaching, enrich and enhance the strategies of biology classroom teachingin high school, and improve the quality of classroom teaching. This research has made acomprehensive discussion on the meaning, functions, principles and strategies of implementationand evaluation criteria of biology classroom lead-in.Based on the investigation of actual teaching, this research, taking pedagogy andpsychology as its theoretical foundation, mainly conducted a preliminary study on the effectivelead-in of high school biology classroom under the background of new curriculum by means ofliterature, questionnaires, interviews, classroom observation and case analysis. This article is divided into five chapters mainly. The first chapter is the raise of the problem. Mainly describes the research background, current research situation, research significance and research methods and ideas. The second chapter is overview of classroom lead-in. On the basis of consulting literature, the meaning of classroom lead-in is clarified and the functions are summarized. And combinedwith the feature of biology, the types of classroom lead-in are classified. From the perspectivesof pedagogy and psychology, the theoretical foundation is elaborated. The third chapter is investigation and analysis of the present situation of biology classroomlead-in in high school. Conduct a survey of high school teachers and students by the forms ofquestionnaire and interview respectively. According to the survey, there are some problemsexisted in the teaching of biology classroom lead-in in high school, such as the insufficientawareness of the lead-in importance, inappropriate timing, fuzzy purpose and digression oflead-in, obsolete materials and monotonous methods, pursuance of form rather than substance, ignorance of learning situation, lack of teacher-student interaction and so forth. The fourth chapter is the implementation of effective lead-in of biology classroom in highschool. According to the relevant theory of pedagogy and psychology, combined withinvestigation conclusion of current situation, this paper summarizes the implementing principlesof effective lead-in of biology classroom in high school, and put forward a number ofimplementation strategies of effective lead-in, such as focusing on creating situations, inspiringstudents ’ thinking, optimizing the dialogue between teachers and students, narrowing thedistance between teachers and students, strengthening the association of old and new knowledge, facilitating knowledge transfer, creating efficient lead-in by adopting instructional technology, cleverly setting suspense, guiding the students to explore, rationally organizing activities, stimulating interest in participating, closing to the real life, creating harmonious atmosphere, skillfully using interesting experiments, highlighting biological characteristics and so forth. The fifth chapter is conclusions&reflections. Through the organization and summarizationof the above research, it comes to the conclusion of this research and makes a reflection of itslimitation.
