On Children 's Spiritual Ecology

In this article, children’s spiritual ecology is defined as the existent state of the children’s spiritual life. And the author treats the children’s spirit as an ecosystem to explore and demonstrate the children’s spiritual ecology. Spiritual ecosystem is a natural synthesis shaped by the internal spiritual systems (unconscious system and conscious system) and their survival environment interacting with each other. Children’s spiritual ecology highlights the growing state of the children’s spiritual ecosystem. The growth of the children’s spiritual ecosystem must undergo the process which includs the unconscious system develping the conscious system, and then the unconscious system and the conscious system forming an organic whole. The growth of the children’s spiritual ecosystem also depends on the interaction between the internal spiritual systems and their survival environment. What’s more, Children’s spiritual ecosystem should always keep the dynamic balance and grow from low-level balance to high-level balance.The continuous growth of children’s spiritual ecosystem is the foundation of the children’s spiritual life improving. However, in reality, children’s spiritual ecology is suffering damage. Children’s spirit is part of nature. The separation of children’s spirit and nature will lead to children’s spiritual ecological crisis. Yet today’s children are increasingly alienated with nature. Moreover, children’s spiritual ecosystem is facing imbalances which are showed up as the destruction of the links between the unconscious system and the conscious system, the restriction of the interaction between the internal spiritual systems and their survival environment, and the excessive intervention to the growth of the children’s spiritual ecosystem. Children are the hope of the future. To protect people’s spiritual ecology, children’s spiritual ecology must be protected firstly.The growth of children’s spiritual life can not do without education. But children’s education to promote the growth of the children’s spiritual life must follow ecological law of the children’s spiritual life, and pay attention to the children’s spiritual ecology. Children’s education should form the correct understanding of children’s spiritual ecology, support the growth of children’s spiritual ecosystem, and try its best to care for the children’s spiritual ecology.
