The policy about changing majors of undergraduate has been put into effect for12years in universities all the country and has been an regular job since Fudan University first broadened the restrictions of changing majors in2002. The N university unveiled the fresh policy on changing majors on On April30,2005which lasted for8years and has gradually matured.In order to understanding the basic information and condition of learning adaptability of the students who changed the major comprehensively and accurately and can provide reference comments for implementation and administration of the policy about changing majors in colleges and universities, the author compiled questionnaire to understand the basic information of the students who changed the major, adopted the learning adaptability questionnaire compiled by Feng Tingyong to investigate the460students about their learning adaptability after changing the major.The conclusions are as follows:1. The scores about the of the students who changed the major in N university is high.Among the adaptation of the learning motivation,teaching mode, learning ability, learning attitude, environmental factors,the score of the adaptation of learning motivation is highest,but the score of the adaptation of environmental factors is the lowest.2. The grade differences exist in the adaptability of teaching mode and learning ability.The sophomore’s average scores at teaching model and learning ability is higher than junior’s. As well, the grade differences exist in the adaptability of learning ability of the students who changed into the majors,such as English (normal), the science of law, economic trade English, accounting and finance. The sophomore’s average scores at learning ability to is higher remarkably than junior’s.3.The gender differences exist in the adaptability of teaching mode. Girls’ average score of the adaptability of teaching mode is higher than boys’.As well, the grade differences exist in the adaptability about the learning attitude and teaching mode of the students who changed into the majors,such as English (normal), the science of law, economic trade English, accounting and finance. Girls’average score of the adaptability of learning attitude and teaching mode is higher remarkably than boys’.4.The scores of the students who changed into the the science of law in the learning adaptability, learning motivation, teaching mode, learning ability, learning attitude of adaptive score are significantly lower than the students’score. who changed into the English (normal), economic and trade English, accounting, financial professional student.5.The highest degree of culture learning of family members has effects on learning ability,learning attitude, and environmental factors, which is not absolute proportional or absolute inverse ratio.6.The higher realization on majors of students who changed the majors, the higher the scores on various aspects of learning adaptability.7.The higher scores on subject-specific achievement of students who changed the majors, the higher the scores on various aspects of learning adaptability.8.The more interested in majors of students who changed the majors,the higher the scores on various aspects of learning adaptability.Based on the investigation conclusion and the problems of learning adaptability,students should adjust their own study appearance and learning attitude, the teaching management departments need to establish an independent division to handle related work around the students who changed the majors, at the same time teachers and students should give students who changed the majors help and guidance, in order to improve the learning adaptability of students who changed the majors.
