Picture book, as a carrier, is commonly used in kindergarten collective activity. In view of the teachers’ aesthetic guidance of the picture book collective activities, this study select one case of a preschool language activity,the little blue and yellow, and analyze teachers’ teaching design and the activity process. The analysis of the teaching design aim at teachers’ collective activities of picture book aesthetic target.The activity process focuses on the children’s behavior and strategy under the guidance of teachers in the process of activities to analyze if teachers notice and encourage children to achieve aesthetics of the corresponding target, and research teachers’ aesthetic orientation in group activities and the use of aesthetic guidance strategy.The results showed that the teacher assist children to appreciate and understand the picture book by creating situation, mobilize children’s action experience plot, Interesting language and body movements’prompt and the use of multimedia.This study deem that there is large room for improvement of picture book aesthetic guidance strategy.Teachers need to update picture book aesthetic orientation, pay attention to picture book aesthetic images, respect the principal position of children in picture book reading activity and master picture book aesthetic guidance strategy.
