An Investigation On The Current Situation Of College Students' Social Communication In Social

With the development of information technology and the advances of the Internet, the popular of the SNS results in a global revolution. The SNS makes the relationship webified and it makes the real-life relationships of people transplanted to the Internet. The SNS becomes the second space for people’s social interaction. Students are the largest users of the Internet and the college students are more special. It becomes the focus that how the SNS impacts the social interaction between college students. According to the related research at home and abroad, the paper expounds the concepts of SNS, the basic elements of the social interaction and the positive and negative effects of the social interaction on the platform of SNS. The study chooses some students at school of the Yangzhou University. This paper uses the questionnaires and interviews as the research methods.Through the questionnaires and interviews, we analyze the current situation of the social interaction and social needs of the college students and the positive and negative effects about the social interaction on network. According to the data of the investigative, we discuss the questions deeply. We draw some conclusions. Firstly, the friends of the social networking sites are their real life friends. They prefer communicating with their friends on the Internet and it causes that students decrease the communication in real life. We also find that college students like communicating with friends in SNS and they are cautious to the strangers. Secondly, more and more students choose to ask for help from net friends when they face some problems. They also will acquire the love and the sense of belonging from the SNS. Thirdly, girls are more dependent on SNS than boys. Most of the college students are short of sense of privacy. It effects the values of the college students. In spite of the these disadvantages, people think the advantages are more than disadvantages.By means of the study of the three aspects, we know that the influence of the SNS is very obvious and it has a lot of advantages and disadvantages. As long as college students can control themselves, distinguish earnestly and filter the information carefully, the SNS will be utilized rationally. And the SNS will give play to students’ interpersonal communication and meeting their various needs.
