Postgraduate education is an important part and indispensable link of national higher education system. It is the main channel to cultivate high-level talents. As the country’s comprehensive national strength enhanced markedly and the rapid development of economy, vocational differentiation is more and more clear. The traditional postgraduate education mode which focuses on academic training has already can not adapt to the development of society. In recent years, people’s living standard has been rising. Sports enterprise, such as school sports, mass sports, competitive sports, has developed vigorously. Complying with the trend of social development, the government transits the direction of graduate education development by orienting at professional development and setting up a full-time professional master degree of sports, which optimize the structure of the graduate cultivation system, in order to develop the high-level and high-quality applied talents.This text takes out investigation on the current education situation of six universities’ full-time physical education major in Shandong province by utilizing the method of documents and materials, questionnaire investigation, expert interview, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, hoping to find the problems in the training process, and put forward corresponding suggestions for the problems. Thus provide valuable experience for the development of full-time physical education majors in Shandong province and the country as a whole.There are several problems as follows:1. The overall education condition basically accord with the requirement of setting full-time master of sports professional universities. However, there are insufficient in the construction of education practice base. There is not enough opportunity for students to take part in international communication.2. The setting of training target is lack of refinement. Didn’t establish training goal oriented to career development. Students lack of understanding of training objectives. 3. In the aspect of curriculum assignment, there is imbalance between the practice class and theory class. The Setting of Theory curriculum is short of target and lack of curriculum oriented to guide practice. The setting of elective courses can’t satisfy the students’interest and demand. The curriculum assignment lacks of multidisciplinary cross.4. In the aspect of social practice, students’practice motivation is insufficient. Teachers’team for practice guidance is not enough. Exchanges and cooperation between schools and society is not quite close. The post of social practice provided can not fully meet the needs of the students.5. In the aspect of occupation values, career planning is not accurate. Blindly pursue social employment without forming a view that improving their own quality and giving priority to consider employment factors.According to the problems found in this study, there are several recommendations as follows:1. Further strengthen the construction of discipline system, faculty, facilities, scientific research, academic achievements and other school running conditions. Increase the number of education practice base and opportunities for students to participate in the international education exchange.2. Establish meticulous clear training objectives with reference to Specifications, intelligent structure and social career development direction of talents cultivating in sports field and according to the features and advantages of their colleges. Strengthen the education of students. Enhance students’understanding about school’s training goal.3. Optimize the curriculum structure. Reasonable coordinate the proportion of theory and practical courses. Promote courses which students interested in. Enrich students’knowledge structure and open students’horizon. Improve the pertinence in setting of curriculum to provide effective guidance for practice. In the aspect of curriculum setting, strengthen academic exchanges and improve students’ability of comprehensive utilization of knowledge.4. Enhance the guidance of students and change student’s education idea to encourage students to actively participate in social-practice activities. Strengthen the construction of guidance teachers’ team, and promote the development of double mentor mechanism. Integrate various social resources, implement joint school-running mode and promote the exchange of school and society in order to provide more jobs for students to practice.5. In the aspect of employment intention, the pursuit of the utilitarian position is acceptable. Propose students to actively improve their comprehensive quality and fully weigh the multiple factors of employment in the future. Do not blindly pursue social trends to avoid a phenomenon that "technology is poor, ability is low, demanding is high".
