Wu Tianshi plays various roles in Jiangsu Chinese education field; he is a teacher, an education leader and an educationalist. He is awarded as one of the most influential person of Jiangsu education field in these60years after1949. Wu Tianshi’s Chinese education antilogy has practical guidance meaning of Jiangsu education’s history, course construction, teaching practice and teacher cultivation. This paper uses a method of history research and education science to study his Chinese education antilogy. It can be divided into five chapters:Chapter One:the background of how Wu Tianshi Chinese education antilogy come into being. Wu Tianshi’s living period is from New Democracy Evolution Period to Social Democracy Construction initial ages. Of this period, Anti-Japanese War and Evolution War happens, his antilogy is also affected and imprinted by wars. His antilogy is an outcome of ear development and personal experience. The development of politics and education is soil for the antilogy’s coming into being. It is him who bring forward Chinese education antilogy with historical character and personal unique opinions.Chapter Two:Wu Tianshi’s Chinese course opinion. This part is a key point of this paper which is also a creative part. The Chinese education mentioned by Wu Tianshi was put emphasis on "double basics":basic knowledge and basic practice of teaching. It is not only effective during that period, it is also meaningful on guiding Chinese course construction and teaching practice nowadays. This paper lists Wu Tianshi’s "Doubel Basic" antilogy’s historical development, deep connotation and affection etc., aiming to introduce "Double Basic" more roundly.Chapter Three:Wu Tianshi’s Chinese teaching opinion. Wu Tianshi was once a Chinese teacher with five teaching experience. During these period, he worked hard and has his unique opinion on this field. He believes the first purpose of Chinese education is " teaching correct study method". It pushes him to find ideal teaching meaning and effective method, and concluding his unique view.Chapter Four:Wu Tianshi’s opinions about teachers. Wu Tianshi’s students and sub-ordinates describes him as an easy-going teacher and leader. Wu Tianshi cares about his students and sub-ordinates ideology and behaviors of their daily life, study and work, put forward his suggestions on their grow-up.Chapter Five:Wu Tianshi’s ideology’s practical meaning on Chinese education. The history of Jiangsu Chinese education is a hided line of Wu Tianshi’s Chinese education ideology study. Through studying his Chinese education ideology, we can find the headstream of Jiangsu modern Chinese education and its consecution. Wu Tianshi’s biggest contribution on Chinese education is course construction and teaching practical part. His thinking on course goal and property still impresses us nowadays. He mentioned to combine theory and practice, and choose soul part and practice more. As a precursor in this field, he is a good sample for us.In a word, we should choose distilled part of his ideology and guide Chinese teaching field move forward stead and healthy.
