| Abstract:Developing with our high level material life, people get great desire upon Physical exercise; BeiJing Olympic Games is a chance for us to gain strong awareness on health care; Tennis player was famed with their excellent performance in many international events. Thanks to above three factors, Tennis became very famous in recent years, it is known and admitted by so many people, especially those people who live in Urban area.Great reservoirs is the base for us to train successions for tennis sporting, the developing level for amateur players affect our regional competitiveness。Investigation was did on the base of grassroots level, and study some factors which involved in tennis playing, such as the quantity of exercise centers in urban district, playground in Small residential areas, supplying for coach, players’intention, amateur competitions... we got some elements which can limit the developing level of Chongqing’s tennis sporting, provided reference materials for the further study, shared suggestions upon its fast develop.This paper takes some CQ main urban districts as study object, such as Shapingba, Jiangbei, Nanan, Yuzhong, Yubei. The research method includes literature document, question, visiting and so on. Research the city zone’s tennis status and analyze the restraining factor. The passage suggest to develop tennis sport, we get some conclusion as below:few grounds are available for tennis, and the inside one is more rare; layout of the playground in center and community are not average; The demand in main city distribution is getting higher, In big tennis center, the large-scale tennis sport is carried out in the form of club. There are more and more coach year by year, but still can not meet the demand. The tennis atmosphere is good and the use rate of tennis field in community is high. There are many tennis games, but less people group; Refer to below for the restraining factor:low economy and citizen incoming, high consumption, insufficient people average, extensive area of nine city distribution, un-convenient traffic, special hot climate, tennis skill and lack of complete training institution.Government is the support for all mass sports activities. For harmonious development, government of CQ municipality city should devote in both infrastructure construction and sport building. More playgrounds and indoor stadiums should be build to meet CQ’s special geographic environment; more tennis clubs and tennis associations should be available to all people who eager to play; more amateurs competitions should be organized to generalize it; we need those activities to correct people’s understanding upon tennis, set right consumption concepts in this area. Share school’s teaching supplying and other resources to the public, rearrange the distribution of playgrounds, establish a wide information channel to advertising tennis sport.
