In order to achieve the goal of a new round of curriculum reform and quality education, case inquiry, classroom discussion, role playing, practice activities with students "experience" as the center of teaching mode is widely concerned. Situational experience type teaching became the main content of high school geography teaching research and practice.Situation experience type teaching is in the implementation of "the teacher is teaching, students are learning the subject" the curriculum idea, emphasized the active participation of students, personal practice and experience the process of understanding, emphasized to realize the communication between teacher and student, student and student exchanges, interactive collaboration, eventually make students take the initiative to acquire knowledge, to generate emotion. Situational experience type teaching is a kind of encourage and so the teachers and students teaching modes, as well as the dynamic process of interaction between teaching and learning development, realize the substantial development of the students’ quality ideal teaching mode.Current middle school geography situation experience type teaching mode and teaching strategies of research and practice remains to be further exploration, on the basis of combing the domestic and foreign research results in this paper, using literature analysis, theoretical analysis, interview method and case method, discusses the characteristic of situational experience type teaching, principles and implementation procedures, combined with the case to the high school geography teaching situation experience type teaching strategy for research. Full text is divided into four parts:the first part focuses on combing the domestic and foreign situation experience type teaching research status and progress. The second part mainly summarizes the connotation of the situational experience type teaching, high school geography situation experience type teaching related concepts and theoretical basis of the research. The third part mainly analyzed the situation of experiential teaching characteristics, principles, and significance, summed up the experience type teaching high school geography teaching implementation situation of the methods and steps, as well as the experience type teaching high school geography situation on the problems existing in the implementation.
