In recent years, research on professional development of mathematics teachers in middle schools had more than related articles and the conclusions are numerous, but specifically what should be done in the course of teacher’s professional development, since the implementation of the new curriculum reform, what professional development of mathematics teachers in middle schools, and answers to both questions did not get better. Therefore, this paper is primarily to do one on the professional development of mathematics teachers in middle schools, and how to more effectively contribute to the professional development of mathematics teachers in middle school studies. Specifically, in the context of the new curriculum, teaching of mathematics teachers in middle school how to improve their overall capacity to fulfill the new curriculum, to promote new mathematical concepts, to lay a solid foundation for all-round development of students.In this study includes five parts. First, the introduction, mainly discussed the paper’s topic, background and significance; second, literature and teachers professional development related theories, mainly summarized the previous point of view, defined the related concepts, combined work practice on theories of understanding and processing; third, this part focused on the understanding and interpretation of the new requirements under the background of the new curriculum, mainly aimed to provide a general direction for the professional development of middle school mathematics teachers; four, through methods such as questionnaire and interviews, investigate the status of a provincial demonstration of all high school mathematics teacher professional development; five, this part provided some practical advice for the majority of middle school mathematics teachers’ professional development, based on the problems found during the survey, combined with relevant theory, provides some practical recommendations.The conclusion of this study is currently middle school mathematics teachers professional development of situation is not ideal. From teachers itself, many mathematics teachers has a demand for self development, but they lack scientific and effective guidance in the development process, which led them do not how to start in their professional development; Although the school and local education administration where teachers worked had take a great number of measures to promote the professional development of the mathematics teachers, it turns out to be effect less. Finally, this part provided a series of more specific, actionable recommendations, from the professional development of mathematics teachers themselves, work administrations on promoting the improvement measures for the professional development of teachers of mathematics, middle school mathematics teacher expectations. Especially for middle school mathematics teachers themselves, this paper provided practical measures from mathematics classroom, mathematics solving, education research, teaching reflection, information technology, education literature, student exchange and other aspects, which almost included all the aspects of middle school mathematics teachers professional development, providing some help for middle school mathematics teachers’ professional development in the implementation of the pathway. Research indicates that the measures of promoting mathematics teachers professional development made by the teacher’s work unit still exists many problems. Therefore, this article tried to provide recommendations from high school mathematics teaching of cycle system, mathematics teachers of specific training, and mathematics teachers’professional development of evaluation system and other aspects. These recommends will helps school awareness to mathematics teachers professional development of importance, thereby developed more reasonable more effective of mathematics teachers professional development measures, to help, supervise, and promote mathematics teachers of professional development.
