After being continuously carried out for several decades, the educational reformhas achieved remarkable accomplishments. But some teachers’ professional ethicshas been questioned, which damages teachers’ image. With the rising of economicstatus and the development of educational technology, why does the standard ofteachers’ professional ethics fall? The study is originated in this question. In theprocess of seeking the answer, I discovered that the vocation “teacher” itself is calledto be on a mission to inherit and innovate culture. That is to say, teachers are notonly playing the role of being affected by culture like others, but also creating culturemore often. Teachers have more direct and frequent deep contact with culture, andare more susceptible to the influence of culture. That’s the reason why the teachersdo not have a clear view of life and value, and are lack of education ideals, whenconfronted with the problems of traditional culture crisis and multi-culturecontradiction. Teachers’ lack of clear view and ideals has a significant impact on theireducational concept and professional ethics. Therefore, this paper analyzes theeffects that the cultural spirit has on teachers’ professional ethics, and then tries tomake some suggestions to change teachers’ cultural spirit and improve teachers’professional ethics in the perspective of cultural spirit.This article is mainly divided into4parts.The first chapter is introduction. It mainly elaborates the significance of thestudy and the innovation point of the paper, defines the conception of culture,cultural spirit, culture conflict, teachers’ professional ethics and teachers’ ethicsanomie, etc. It also summarizes our country’s research status of the phenomena andcause of teachers’ ethics anomie as well as the construction of teachers’ professionalethics.The second chapter mainly analyzes the performances of some teachers’ lack ofprofessional ethics. According to the relative achievements by other scholars, Icategorize the performances of lacking professional ethics in5types. The first type is the lack of commitment, including being passionless, unambitious, unloving andimpatient. The second type is the lack of integrity. The third is ignoring students’dignity and rights, such as insult, physical punishment and disguised forms ofphysical punishment, etc. The fourth type is corruption, mainly including maliciouspaid tutor and extortion. The fifth type is weakening teachers’ model behavior, whichdamages teachers’ image.Based on the reality that teachers’ professional spirit and behavior aredegenerating, the third chapter of the paper tries to analyze the root cause ofteachers’ ethics anomie in the perspective of cultural spirit and culture conflict. In mypoint of view, there are three reasons. One is the loss of some brilliant traditionalculture. The second is the influence of the negative factors of traditional culture. Thethird reason includes the value confusion caused by different value orientationamong cultures, lacking in clear educational concept caused by the conflict conceptof hierarchy, democratic equality, individual spirit.The fourth part of the paper gives the advice to improve the current situation ofteachers’ professional ethics from the culture perspective. This chapter consists oftwo parts. The first part provides the theoretical foundation of the advice. That is,Spiritual and cultural causes of anomie based on professional ethics of teachers;Characteristics of cultural spirit. The second part elaborates In the spirit of culturalanomie angle measures constitute morality. That inherit and carry forward the finetraditional culture of the spirit; integrate multicultural spirit; cultivate the spirit ofcultural consciousness to create a new culture. The third part elaborates from States,schools and individual teachers at three levels namely the correspondingcountermeasures. That is, countries should be carried out in the fields the top aspreading splendid traditional culture, integration, multiculturalism, created a newera of cultural reform movement of spiritual culture, and for the development ofprofessional ethics of teachers create a good social environment of the spirit. Theministry of education should add cultural courses in teacher training and enhanceteachers’ consciousness of improving their professional ethics by training them to bethe person who have cultural awareness. The schools should develop school-basedIV research. And through the practical training, to change teachers’ original structure ofcultural and psychological to be more scientific and rational, also to improve thestandards of teachers’ professional ethical. For the teachers, they should follow thedevelopment of the times, and absorb new cultural spirit consciously.Byimplementing the strategy above, hopes to improve the current situation of teachers’professional ethics in China.
