The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNtCEF) was established on December11,1946. It was originally intended to meet the emergency needs of children in Europeafter World War II. Since1950, its mandate expanded to take care of the fong-termneeds of women and children in developing countries in the world. In1953, itbecame a permanent organization of the United Nations system, under the UnitedNations system, commissioned by the UN General Assembly committed the countriesaround the world children survival, development, protection and participation rights.In1961, UNICEF expanded its impact into the whole needs of the whole children, andkept an eye on education, which has always been a major topic to the organization.Carrying out the work of quality education is one of the most important thingsof UNICEF, it works mainly in the developing countries, using the form of ChildFriendly School to make great contribution to the disadvantaged children. Ourcountry is proudly one of the experimental countries.This thesis analyzes the process of quality education and its im’pact on worldseducation with two basic methods, includes literature review and comparativeresearch. The thesis contains six elements.The first part is an introduction of the reason of chooses the theme, thepurpose and meaning, literature summary and research methods.In the second part, this thesis mainly introduces the conception of the qualityeducation and the Child Friendly School.The third part analyzes the progress of the Child Friendly School.The fourth part introduces the assessment of the UNICEF on how to promotethe Child Friendly School.The fifth part mainly introduces the Child Friendly School in China.The sixth part is conclusion. Based on the preceding chapters, this part inducesand analyzes the factors of the progress and its difficulties in Chinese remote areas.
