Childhood is a crucial period of development in life,and the growth experience at this stage has an important influence on the personality shaping in the later period.In recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization in China and the reduction of public spaces for children 's activities,children 's growth environment is facing major challenges,and hidden safety hazards in public spaces have increasingly become the focus of attention.It is the common responsibility of the family,society and government to ensure that children grow up in a safe and healthy environment.The construction of friendly cities is an important manifestation of government and social responsibility.In order to better meet the needs of children's survival and development space,China is actively promoting the construction of child-friendly communities.The construction of a child-friendly community is a long process.Under the guidance of system theory and Erickson's social psychology theory,the author interviews and observes the residents,children,and staff of the N community in Nanjing by consulting relevant literature.,Space,service,culture,workers and other five aspects to explore the connotation of child-friendly community construction.From the perspective of the current situation of the construction of child-friendly communities,at the institutional level,a multi-departmental cooperative organization structure and child discussion system for child-friendly communities have been formed;at the spatial level,children 's zebra crossings,children 's maps,children 's fitness paths,activity rooms,and mother-infant rooms Etc.have been established;at the service level,starting from the needs of children and families,providing child-friendly services in a targeted manner;at the cultural level,creating community-based child-friendly journals,designing and letting children vote for community-friendly cartoon images of children;at work At the person level,a child-friendly volunteer team,a leadership team and an expert team have been established.The construction of child-friendly communities provides safety guarantees for children's healthy growth;the expansion of child-friendly spaces promotes children's happy growth;children's participation in community construction enhances children's sense of responsibility and development capacity.However,from the perspective of social workers,the community still has a lack of child-friendly funding source guarantee mechanism,and the details of the friendlysystem operation are vague;the space construction is not yet perfect,and there are hidden safety risks in the indoor space;Dislocation of supply and demand;insufficient popularity of child-friendly concepts,thin cultural content in the community;ambiguous positioning of community workers,shortage of professional professionals in the community,and insufficient participation of diverse communities.In view of the problems in the construction of child-friendly communities,social workers will need to explore the intrinsic capabilities of community residents,promote the participation of residents,and improve the system construction;link the resources inside and outside the community to create suitable spaces in light of the actual situation;face different groups in the community and enrich the types of services,Carry out targeted services;expand publicity,create a friendly atmosphere,and create a good growth environment for children;attract first-class talents,especially social work professionals to join the construction team,and promote child-friendliness with social work professional values,theories,and methods Community Building.
