| Since UNICEF officially entered the field of education in 1961,it has brought benefits to the development and education of all countries in the world,especially the majority of developing countries,and has had an important impact on education throughout the world.The United States has always played an important role in the establishment and development of UNICEF and has profoundly influenced the formulation and implementation of UNICEF’s education policies.With the closer cooperation between China and UNICEF,learning the America’s influence on UNICEF’s education policies will not only clarify the purpose and means of the United States influencing UNICEF’s education policies,but also help our country to better participate in UNICEF’s education assistance activities,and we can better participate in global education governance through UNICEF.This article mainly uses the literature research method and the historical research method to sort out the America’s influence on its educational policy since the foundation of UNICEF.Through this article,I will summarize and analyze the United States’ impact on UNICEF’s educational policy.I will also summarize and explore its influence characteristics,and then analyze his influence concretely.The main framework of this article is as follows: Chapter 1 is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research reason,literature review,research purpose,research content and research method of this article;Chapter 2 is the United States’ impact on the changing priorities of UNICEF’s education policies.Combining the changes in the United States and the world situation,the period of UNICEF education policy is divided into six development stages.The goal is to sort out the historical background of the changes in the United States and the world situation which have an influence on UNICEF’s education from scratch and overall direction.The third chapter is about the way the United States influence the education policies of UNICEF.Specifically,the United States provides support for the formulation and implementation of UNICEF education policies in three areas: funding,talent transfer,and project development.The fourth chapter is the characteristics of the influence of the United States on the education policies of UNICEF.In the process of impact,the United States has three characteristics of its influence on UNICEF’s education policies: its purpose is to shape the United States’ good international image,realize cultural hegemony,and infiltrate the ideology of the United States in a subtle way during theimpact process.And the choice of region is based on whether it has geostrategic significance.The fifth chapter analyzes the impact of the United States on the education policies of UNICEF.From the perspective of UNICEF,the United States has not only brought great positive effects to UNICEF’s education policies,but also brought some negative effects.From the United States’ perspective,supporting UNICEF’s education policies can greatly enhance its international image and its influence in developing countries.The last part is the conclusion part of the thesis.Based on the previous research results,it summarizes and analyzes the impact of the United States on UNICEF’s education policies,and elaborates on the reasons and purposes behind its strong support for UNICEF’s education policies,helping us dialectically looking at its impact on UNICEF’s education policies and bringing some enlightenment to China’s better cooperation with UNICEF. |
