The Influence Of Buddhism On Middle School Students In Thailand

Culture is very profound to a country,it forms the character of a nation and it’s people. As we all know, Thailand is a Buddhist country, Buddhist had a profound influences on the cultural. The research of the impact of the Thai Buddhist in schools, will help us to have a better and more comprehensive understanding of Thai students, it will also providing some teaching methods to those teachers who teaches in Thailand, the study of Buddhist Student’s behavior and psychological character has a very important meaning for the international promotion of Chinese language education.This paper is based on the author’s research and practice during the two year’s teaching in Thailand, have a in-depth understanding and observation of the Thai Buddhist, by using the method of questionnaire survey to understand the impact of Buddhism on the Thai students. We have the result of the influence of Buddhism on Thai high school students on life, behavior and study habits based on the questionnaire survey, therefore, provide some reference for Chinese teachers who teach in Thailand.This paper is divided into five parts. The first section briefly describes the current status and significance of the research, the background and the content of the research; the second part of the study demonstrated specific papers, research scope and data research; the third part is the data analysis of the second part,it describe the concrete manifestation of the influence of Buddhism on Thai high school students, it elaborate from the life of high school students, study habits and behavior habits; the fourth part is the summary and recommendations of the former Chinese international education text drawn; the fifth part is the summary of this paper.The study of the Student’s psychological and the impact of the Buddhist religion work on students can help us have a better understanding of the student’s learning characteristics, therefore, it will help us to have a better way to teach.
