The investigations about migrant children, social identity and mental health have been attracted much attention. However, the gender perspective has been rarely referred to. Based on intersectionality, gender is closely related to class. In this principle, we think that gender consciousness and social identity interact with each other, and have influence on mental health. In this article, we focus on migrant children’s gender consciousness and social identity, using gender theory to analyze their issues. Here are the results below:1. Gender consciousness of migrant children is lower than middle level, and has significant differences in gender and grade. Girls’ gender consciousness is significantly higher than that of boys. The higher gender consciousness for boys, they have less likely psychological problems. The higher their gender consciousness for girls, there is more psychological problems.2. The integration level of migrant children’s social identity is high, the assimilation ratio and the segregation ratio are almost the same, and the proportion of marginalization is small. Migrant children in higher grades are more likely to be separated and marginalized on their social identity. The longer time of the migrant children living in city and the higher their parents’ education degree lead to the higher level of their assimilation of city identity. Migrant children have higher level of assimilation if their parent is manager, and they have higher level of marginalization if their parent is peasant.3. There’s some problems in migrant children’s mental health. And they have poor mental health in obsessive-compulsive, anxiety and study pressure symptoms,4. Migrant children who have marginalized social identity have highest gender consciousness, and the level of their gender conscious is significantly higher than migrant children who have assimilated social identity. Migrant children who have marginalized social identity have worst mental health. Migrant children who have separated social identity have more maladjustment problems. Gender consciousness has influence in mental health and has more influence in mental health of girls. Migrant children with different social identities have significant differences in gender consciousness, and migrant children who have marginalized social identity have highest level of gender consciousness. Based on these results, gender theory and social identity theory are used to analyze migrant children’s gender consciousness and social identity problems, social capital theory is used to analyze the education injustice faced by migrant children, intersectionality is used to analyze the multi-dilemma of migrant children in gender and social class. Finally, we give some advices on educational equality of different genders and classes. Such as protect migrant children’s rights of education by establishing a special fund financial transfer payments, promoting the regularization of migrant school development and giving positive treatment to migrant children. Through improving teachers’gender consciousness, avoiding gender bias in textbooks to ensure boys and girls receive equal education.
