The development of adolescent students have been people’s attention, and the gender education is getting more and more attention by all of us. Adolescent period of junior middle school students is the key time to the gender role identity formation, To achieve gender role identity of junior high school students, to accept yourself and respect other gay and straight. Therefore, in training students’ good personality, proper gender role education is very important. This article tries to comb through the research work at home and abroad, reference to previous research results, for the subsequent gender role identity and social adaptation ability aspect to provide certain reference information.This article research takes the baoding 24 as the object, including three grades. A total of 320 questionnaires, back after finishing, eliminated the incomplete information, a total of 278 questionnaires are valid questionnaires. This article adopts the method of questionnaire survey, mainly using the Bem sex role identity scale and the adolescent social adaptation behavior scale. Bem sex role identity scale test method is that the participants need to answer in turn 60 projects, each project is an adjective, subjects according to their own actual situation to select in line with their own adjectives. Adolescent social adaptation behavior scale was formulated by Zhou Hui and others in 2008, 2009 by Zou Hong, Yu Yi has revised version. The scale includes eight dimensions: self-esteem, self troubled and prosocial tendencies, interpersonal alienation, efficiency, irregularities, positive coping, negative act, a total of 50 projects.The results are as follows:1. Whether boys or girls, gender roles in junior middle school students are obviously a double gender.2. Boys have no significant differences in the masculine gender role identity and feminine scales, girls have significant differences in the masculine gender role identity and feminine scales.3. There are no significant gender differences in the social adaptation ability, but there is a grade difference.4. There is a very significant positive correlation between men positive scale score points with social adaptation ability, women positive scale score points and social adaptability scale score points are also reached a significant level, but the correlation coefficient is lower than the former.5. The androgynous and masculine types are significantly better than undifferentiated type and feminine type in social adaptation ability.
