According to the perspective of historical materialism,social consciousness is determined by social existence,furthermore,ethics is the components of social existence,which is determined by economic basis and service for social economic basis to some degree.Professional ethics is basic morals that should be obeyed in people’s professional life.Teacher’s ethics as the components of social consciousness is one of the professional ethics and the reflection of social existence,which is controlled by development of social existence,moreover,which will changes along with social existence changes absolutely.On the other hand,teacher’s professional ethics develop in accordance with education and teacher’s occupation develops ostensibly,however,which along with the development of social productivity and production relation.Nevertheless,social consciousness is the power of spirit,which have the ability of converting to material power in some conditions and have the function of retroaction,because it can changes social existence,affect the social development. In conclusion,with the rapid development of society,as the social existence,teacher’s will have the effect on society deeply and broadly,it is urgent and vital to construct the studying of teacher’s professional ethics. Overdue social consciousness could hinder the development of society,and advanced social consciousness will propel social development positively. For instance, ethics, as the special formation of social consciousness, have the function of realizing, guidance, regulation, argument, encouragement, and communication, teacher’s professional ethics are the requirement of the development of the socialist market economy.the key link of construction of socialist ethics, the vital methods of promoting the whole society’s quality education, furthermore, it is needed for pushing forward the inner quality of teachers. With the rapid development of society construction of teacher’s professional ethics is even vital.This thesis includes five parts.The introduction part presents the research background and status,the critical difficulties and solutions,the originality and feasibility of the topic selection and the research methods used in this thesis.In the second part,viewing from the historical materialism,we explained related concepts,summarized the dialectical relation between ethic,work ethic and social existence,and illustrated the construction change of the teachers’professional morality and its effect on the social development.Thirdly.from the philosophical point of the dialectical relation between internal and external causes for the development of a thing,the reasons were discussed for the phenomenon of the moral decline among teachers emerged in our country today.The important role of the construction of the teachers’morality was presented from the point of the dialectical relation between the teacher’s virtue and the social development.The fourth part gives the feasible suggestions and measures for strengthening the construction of teachers’ethical quality with the method of combing the theory and practice.Lastly,the conclusion was given that as the development of the society,the work ethic must be constructed and changed respectively to play the important role of morality.
