in recent years, along with our country economy, cultureand so on various aspects of rapid development and growth, also gives ourcountry the development situation of aging population brought greatinfluence on the social progress. We in the domestic and abroad to explorethe correlation of the elderly subjective well-being platform, to discusshow to improve the elderly’s subjective happiness sense of strategy andplan, now the square dance such a physical exercise project, in a uniqueway of fitness, the rapid development of one of the main way for mass fitness,this is a way and economy and popularity of the fitness, can enhance thephysical and mental health of the elderly, cheerful body and mind, to theelderly role in many aspects, this thesis combines the subjectivewell-being and old people in the square dance, explore a channel to improvethe elderly subjective well-being.This paper USES the literature material method, experimental method,statistical method, etc., with "square dance" as the means of exercise,to city of henan province nanyang community elderly people as subjects,all subjects were divided into experimental group and control group andexperiment for three months, and the experimental group and control groupsubjects of general subjective well-being scale scores before and aftercomparison and analysis. Results showed that the experimental groupsubjects after the test, the health, mood, meet, anxiety factor has a verysignificant improvement (P0.05) or less, and the control group were nosignificant differences between before test after test. In the groups ofdifferent gender, it is concluded that men and women square dance exerciseafter tests, women in health factor and factor and mood and anxiety factorthan men have significant dif but there was no significant on energy andcontrol factors change, men and women in the square dance exercise testbefore, there was no significant difference in six factors. The aboveresults show that the square dance can pass for the participants to forcedintervention, not only improve the quality of the subjects body, and alsoimprove the level of mental health of the elderly. That square danceexercise are helpful to the elderly subjective well-being, suitable forthe elderly to practice, also is worth popularizing in die the crowd.
