Using the literature material law, logic analysis law, as well ascomparison analysis law,this article combs the concept of woman’s physical educationof the early reformers,and attempts to analyze the origin of the concept of physicaleducation with the background of the historical process from the middle of the19thcentury to the beginning of the20th century.Simultaneously,this article compares theconcept of woman’s physical education of the early reformers with the Westernizationand the revolutionaries in the comparative perspective,so as to get the conclusion of thecharacteristics of the concept of woman’s physical education of the early reformers.Thus everyone could have a more macroscopic understanding of the concept ofwoman’s physical education of the early reformers. Meanwhile, the analysis of theproblems of Chinese women’s sports in this article gives a certain amount ofexperience when introspecting the status of the present Chinese women’s sports, so thatto provide some reference to improve development of the Chinese women’s sports.The main content of this article includes two parts: one is the concept of woman’s physical education of the early reformers represented by Yan Fu, Tan Sitong, KangYouwei and Liang Qichao.The other is the characteristics of woman’s physicaleducation of the early reformers,which is, by comparing the concept of woman’sphysical education of the early Reformers with that of the Westernization, they beganto concern about the problem of “transformation”,thus,they get to the problem of theChinese women’s physical education,and comparing with later revolutionary,revolutionary focus more on "national" perspective, emphasizing on the problems ofwomen’s physical education,however, it seems that people in the reform also hasnot been "given" woman such a position.Preliminary conclusions of this research:affected by the current unstable politicalsituation,all the concepts of woman’s physical education of the early reformersrepresented by Kang Youwei and Liang Qichao,the Westerners and the revolutionaryare closely related to the political purpose of power storage,women’s sports issubmerged in the social environment of the country,it is difficult to hear women’s“voices”.
